Come out and spend an evening in the south suburbs with your classmates and friends from Sandburg! We've reserved the banquet area on the second floor of Embers Tap House in Lockport from 7pm - 11pm, with the option to linger afterward in their first floor bar until the place closes.
Ticket price includes: Admission for one (1) to the Class of 1989 Carl Sandburg High School Reunion. Rental of Embers Tap House in a spacious and private venue, appetizer & hors d'oeuvres, desserts, mailings & printings, music, decor, expenses for CSHS89.com website and domain. Please Note: Cash Bar
Why does the ticket price change? In order to cover upfront costs (mailings, website expenses, venue deposit, etc) and provide a near final count to Embers Tap House in advance of the event, we need tickets purchased in advance, please!
Hotel options: Google the option best for you. If there is a hotel that seems to emerge as the preferred hotel, we can post it on the CSHS89.com website. Just let us know! If you are interested in connecting with classmates to find a common hotel, consider reaching out to classmates on www.CSHS89.com or joining the Facebook page for our class, it is a closed group: Carl Sandburg High School Class of 89.
How can you help?
Purchase your ticket...Spread the word...Help us track down classmates...Send classmates to www.CSHS89.com!
CSHS89.com will always be your best source of information. We have had the website for over ten years and intend to to keep it! If you are good with searching for people and/or have contacts of our classmates, please reach out to us and reach out to the classmates you know! We need the help! If you would like to help in any other way, we would love to have your assistance! Reach out to us through the cshs89.com website.
Please update your contact information. We are mailing information to every classmate for whom we have an address. For some classmates, we likely have their parent's address. Please help us get current information!
Final thoughts: Opportunities to reunite only occur once every ten years. Common feedback from the 20th reunion was it was engaging, fun and wonderful to see people after so many years. You'll have a name tag and so will your classmates! We had a fantastic turnout for our 20th reunion and, judging by survey feedback we recently received, we anticipate a great turnout for our 30th! We need you to make this event great! You are likely to be pleasantly surprised to connect after so many years and may enjoy recalling events you haven't thought of in decades!
Reunion Committee of volunteers: Deborah Tomecek Pleva, Chris Pautsch, Christine Choksi DuPilka, Sally Ritzler Siegel, Dave Banko, Maureen Blanchfield O'Keefe and Carrie Gappa Jarosik. We have been having meetings every 2-4 weeks for the last ten months. Most of us do not live in Illinois.
